Pakistan’s renowned TV host, singer, actor Fakhar-e-Alam’s Mission Parwaaz has proved that It is never too late to make your dream come true. Three years ago the pop singer expressed the passion of his childhood dream of flying. However, with a lot of research, hard work, dedication and persistence the 42-years old Fakhar’s dream of flying around the globe is about to fulfil.
From his Twitter handle Fakhar announced about his Mission Parwaaz to become the first ever Pakistani to circumnavigate the globe.
“I am happy to report to you all today that after 3 years of a lot of hard work & persistence #MissionParwaaz my attempt to circumnavigate the globe is finally happening. If I succeed I will become the 1st Pakistani in the history of the world to do so.”

Fakhar-e-Alam also launched a website for his Parwaaz Mission with the similar, it is mentioned there that becoming the pilot was his childhood dream and that passion triggered in 2015 that led him to took a sabbatical from his 25 years long showbiz career and went ahead to get a private pilot license from the USA.
He needs to fulfil the three requirements in order to achieve his dream of circumnavigating the globe;
- 26000 nautical miles is must to cover with flown through all medians.
- A pilot can use only one plane and not allowed to change in any condition.
- The journey will start and end from the same airport.
Talking to the Dawn Images Fakhar-e-Alam told about his plans and conditions of pulling off his Mission Parwaaz;
“I have to do 26000 nautical miles and fly through all the mediums of the planet to achieve circumnavigation. We’re aiming for a 28-day schedule. The rules state I have to use the same aircraft and be in control of it at all time. I’ll be flying to 30 airports around the world.”
He further added;
“The risk is there but the reward and the glory to our flag are far greater and I’m committed to it. I’m grateful to everyone who helped me out, whether they were from USA, UAE or Pakistan, making this happen made me realise what it would be like if the planet was one. Maybe the next step will be intergalactic travel, there are so many possibilities.”
Almost 200 people have attempted to fly around the globe, there is a chance for Pakistan to put its name on the list.
