NASA LANDED ON MARS
CALIFORNIA: Photos of Martian Surface has been sent to California’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory of NASA from InSight Spacecraft.
After the travelling of six months through space, NASA InSight spacecraft touched down the surface of Mars after a dramatic seven minutes landing. The confirmation of landing came at 19:53 GMT.
The crew of NASA at California’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory cheered up when the message of InSight came on the confirmation of touched down. The robot was sent inside the InSight to evaluate the temperature and interiors of mars.
President Trump called agency’s chief administrator, James Bridenstine, to congratulate. The Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s director, Mike Watkins, expressed that this success should be the reminder for all as, “to do science we have to be bold and we have to be explorers.”
The first picture of landscape came within minutes of its landing, but the picture was not clear enough the dust made it difficult to see clearly. Though, the picture came later was much clearer.

The landing was also broadcast live in New York City’s Times Square and also watched around the world. The astronauts rung to the mission team congratulating and telling that, “got some goosebumps” watching the coverage.
The Vice President, Mike Pence, also went on twitter to congratulate NASA and team.
