Game of Thrones final season will consist of just six episodes and each episode will have the runtime of 80 minutes or longer.
The show’s final season got delayed as it was expected to release this year. The show stars Sophie Turner and Liam Cunningham had already hinted about the final season delay in their interviews.
Counter the Spoilers
HBO has been quite tight-lipped about details with regards of Game of Thrones’ final season. As the show has come under the radar of spoilers, the GOT final season script sent to all cast at once via email that was protected with the layers of password security, according to the report of Entertainment Weekly.
“It was completely overwhelming,” says Sophie Turner (plays Sansa Stark in the series) after reading the final season’s script. “Afterwards I felt numb, and I had to take a walk for hours.” She further added.
Emilia Clark told about the profound effect of the script had on her, she said, “Genuinely the effect it had on me was profound,” Clarke adds. “That sounds insanely pretentious, but I’m an actor, so I’m allowed one pretentious adjective per season.”
The final season has been directed by the show creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, along with David Nutter and Miguel Sapochnik. Written by Benioff, Weiss, Dave Hill and Bryan Cogman.
Although the teaser had provided some relief to die-hard fans of GOT, however, we know it would be difficult to wait for 5 months from now. Just wait #ForTheThrone!
