Metoo movement is not seemed to stop anywhere soon. Every now and then a renowned name pops up in the harassment case that left everyone in a complete shock. This time it is even more jolting to hear when one of Bollywood’s legend and honourable celebrity Nana Patekar name came up in the harassment case.
Former Miss India and Bollywood actress who seems to have taken a sabbatical from showbiz stepped forward and shared her experienced being of a victim of harassment by Nana Patekar.
In a recent interview to Zoom TV, Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar on making her the subject of harassment on the sets of 2009 film “Horn Ok Pleassss”. Ashiq banaya actress did some shocking revelation about her co-star on being inappropriate with her on several occasion on the film sets.
She also revealed the veteran actor’s disrespectful behaviour towards other women and also other celebrities still wanted to work with him despite being aware of his behaviour.
“Everyone knows about Nana Patekar that he has always been disrespectful towards women. People in the industry know that he has beaten actresses, he has molested them. His behaviour with women has always been crude but no publication has printed anything about it,” she said.
The actress also unveiled the incidents and how Patekar ill-treated her on the sets;
“He was grabbing me by the arms, pushing me around then he would ask the choreographers to move and teach me how to dance, and the next thing I know he wanted to do was an intimate sequence with me. It was ridiculous.”
She also spoke out about the event when Patekar broke her car with the help of political workers when she refused to do an intimate scene with him.

Sharing her views on MeToo movement, Tanushree said that there is no hope for these incidents to get stopped unless big celebrities take some action against these kinds of behavior. She also added the name of Akshay Kumar and Rajnikant who are still working with Nana Patekar despite his behavior;
“Akshay Kumar has made few films with Nana Patekar in last eight years and Rajinikanth also recently worked with him (in Kaala)… If such big stars will keep working with these culprits then there’s no hope for any movement to happen.”
She further added;
“Everyone has gossiped about this but they’ve never spoken. People with this kind of character speak like this against the kind of character that I have because they say she does glamourous roles so must be glamorous and all. Behind the back, they are so dirty. When you are in the industry you hear so many stories about these actors. But these things never take surface because they are PR packaged very well. They will give some money to some poor farmers. How much they do and how much they don’t know, no one knows. But all this is just for show,”
Tanushree Dutta was signed for a special song in the film, later replaced by Rakhi Sawant after her complaint against Nana Patekar inappropriate behaviour.
