Things that will make you fall in love with KU
Karachi’s famous institute The University of Karachi aka KU. Which is kind of a little city in a city. Karachi University is famous for so many things. There are som,e things you hate about Karachi university But there are some things that will make you fall in love with Ku and will always give you nostalgia when you pass out.
Halwa puri at Sufi
If you left home so hurriedly with an empty stomach then after reaching to Ku go to Sufi Dhaba to kill your hunger with the best halwa puri in town.

The legendary one bite samosa
Okay, so this is the signature cuisine of the great university of Karachi. The well known One bite samosa of PG (prem Gali). The crispy crunchy little fidgets are the world’s tastiest samosas that you’ll ever eat. They fit perfectly in your mouth and if you sprinkle some masala on them.. damn way to go.

Chai at PG
PG (prem gali) no its not the street of lovers. PG is the food street of Ku with the vast variety of foods with reasonable prices. Well if you’re a chai lover whether it’s a Kashmiri chai, doodh Patti, kahwa you’ll find your choice and dose of caffeine with the best taste there to stay awake in your lecture.

Mehmood-ulu Hassan library
Book reader? go for the best and the huge Library of the University of Karachi. It’s so huge with huge halls and mountains of books of all genre and types. You’ll love this place.

Student week
Student week is like eid for every tired student, it’s the best fun break during the hectic routines of classes and lectures. There held carnivals with various stalls and lots of fun games. In those days every corner of the university is crowded with student in color clothes drooling overrides and going crazy on Tuc biscuits challenges. Speechess, cultural shows and so much more we get to see on student-week. And every other political rival competing to set the best event and we end up enjoying all of them.

The best book fair in town
The best event for bookworms is the annual Ku book fair which is my personal favorite event too. The Ku book fair or kitaab mela, which held every year with almost 60 stalls and thousands of books of all interests whether you want to buy some course books or novels or even want to buy some colourfull books for your younger siblings. This book fair has it all plus some cheezy food stalls outside.

So these were the things that we love about Ku. Share yours with us in the comments below!
