Chart topping pop star, Lady Gaga set to feature in her first lead role. Bradley Cooper to debut as a director.
The movie, named ‘A Star is Born’, is the fourth adaptation of the 1937 original. That movie featured Janet Gaynor and Fredric March.
The story follows an aspiring musician who finds her ally in an ageing leading star, until till her fame eclipses his. Many movies have found success in following this stroy-line. Most noticeably like Bollywood’s famous ‘Aashiqui’ series.
Bradley Cooper is gearing up for his debut as the director of the film. He will also act alongside Gaga.
This isn’t Gaga’s first movie outing, having acted in FX’s American Horror Story: Hotel, playing the Vampire Countess, which landed her a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a limited series/TV movie.

Lady Gaga is tasked with the composition and recording of the songs for ‘A Star is Born’.
