Merging of Facebook with Whatsapp, Instagram, and messenger
Facebook is planning to integrate its messaging services on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger.
While all of these three apps remain stand-alone apps, but on the other hand at a much deeper level, they will be linked to the messages can travel between the different services.
Facebook told the BBC it was at the start of a “long process”. The merging plan was first reported in the New York Times. Also, it is believed to be a personal project of the founder Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook.

After the completion, the Facebook user could communicate directly with someone who only has a WhatsApp account. This is currently impossible as the applications have no common core.
The work on the merging of these three apps has already begun and is expected to be completed by the end of this year or early next year.
