Google employees walkout from all around the world to protest over gender inequality and sexual harassment accusations. The employees of Google shows dissatisfaction over the company dealing with the sexual harassment accusation.
The employees are asking for several key changes in the company’s code of conduct about dealing with the sexual misconduct allegations, including a call to end forced arbitration – a move that would provide victims with a power to sue.
Google Chief Executive Sundar Pichai said in a statement that “employees have raised constructive ideas” and that the company was “taking in all their feedback so we can turn these ideas into action.”

What Led the Walkout?
The outrage among the employees aroused when the New York Times article reported that Google paid $90 million to the Android Founder Andy Rubin, as a farewell bid in 2014, despite being accused of forcing an employee to performed Oral sex with him in a hotel in 2013.
In response, Pichai told the staff on an email that “In the last two years, 48 people have been terminated for sexual harassment, including 13 who were senior managers and above.” Also told that New York Times news was difficult to read.
